We are The Wolves! Our team is dedicated to opportunity, success and participation in sports within the community. Established in 2017 as a small Basketball Association in Sydney, we have grown and expanded into a multi-faceted Sports Association, providing services not only in basketball but also in volleyball, futsal, wheelchair sports, martial arts, dance and so much more!

RONNIE KHALIL | CHAIRMAN

As one of the co-founders of The Wolves, our Chairman Mr Ronnie Khalil is an ambitious, energetic and dedicated individual with a great passion for sports and community outreach. As head of the board, Ronnie plays a great role in steering the direction and vision of the Association, using his experience in business development and entrepreneurship to enhance opportunities for the people in our local communities through sports and recreation.

MEDEYA HAMZZE | CO-OWNER

The Wolves’ Senior Advisor and venue co-owner. Recently transitioned from her role as Managing Director, Medeya remains deeply involved, providing invaluable insights and direction in top-level decision-making. With over 20 years of management experience, Medeya is the mastermind behind most of what you see at The Wolves! With her extensive experience, knowledge and passion for sports and recreation, Medeya oversees the general workings of the Association, finding innovative ways to reach and engage the community in healthy, enjoyable physical and social activity.

CURTIS BUSSELER

The Strategic Consultant, plays a vital role in identifying key challenges and recommending solutions. Curtis assists in implementing those solutions within the organisation.

DANIEL GATT

The Finance Manager, overseeing the financial health of our organisation. Daniel’s meticulous attention to detail and financial acumen ensures our operations remain sustainable and prosperous.

DONNA GARCIA

The Manager of Basketball Operations, Donna brings extensive experience and passion for the game. She ensures the association’s competitiveness and excellence. Her insights significantly shape player development and team strategies.

CHERYL JENDRACHOWSKI

The Manager of Venue Operations, Cheryl spearheads Marketing and Customer Relations at The Wolves. Her expertise and dedication are key to ensuring the prominence and success of our brand.

DAMEIN BANNER

Coach Damein plays a key role in player development, guiding athletes to their full potential on and off the court through his expert leadership and coaching, fostering growth, discipline, and teamwork.

HAYDEN JUN

Coach Hayden is an exceptional basketball mentor who connects with players, not just during games but also in training sessions. He possesses an understanding of each player’s skills and discipline, complemented by a robust, uplifting character.

CARLY O’FLYNN

Recent addition to the Administration team, Carly provides administrative support for our Representative Program, Local Competition and assists with the Sporting Schools program.

STEPHANIE GREGORY

The Social Media Guru, Stephanie manages our digital presence and engagement. Her innovative strategies and deep understanding of the online realm greatly enhance our fan engagement and strengthen our presence across all social media platforms.
