Girls High Performance Program (HPP)

Commencing in Term 4 2025, the Girls HPP provides a dedicated platform for female athletes committed to progressing their game. Recommended by our coaching staff, this program offers the ideal environment for athletes to be challenged, extended, and supported in their development while preparing them for the standards expected in a high-performance environment. Athletes in the Girls HPP will:

  • Strengthen fundamentals, basketball IQ and tactical awareness. 
  • Improve game concepts and decision-making under pressure.
  • Benefit from a structured and purposeful off-season training platform.
  • Lay the foundation for success through consistent, high-quality repetition and intensity.

Selection Criteria 

  • Have played representative basketball
  • Have been selected as a Development Player within their association’s representative program
  • Currently competing at Division 1 level (or equivalent) in basketball or another recognised sport

 

EOI Form

Note: The Girls HPP is a selective program.

  • Athletes who have not previously played representative basketball must complete an Expression of Interest (EOI) Form.
  • Submitting an EOI does not guarantee placement in the program.
  • All applications will be reviewed by the coaching staff and may include an on-court assessment. Final decisions regarding athlete suitability rest with the coaches.
  • The Association reserves the right to make selection decisions to ensure the program upholds its high-performance standards.
