Welcome to the Winter 2025 season! This competition is a traditional full-court game where two teams of eight players compete against each other. It emphasises teamwork, strategy, and skill, following standard basketball rules with structured gameplay, including set time periods, fouls, and substitutions. This format is ideal for players looking to develop their skills in a competitive and dynamic environment.

Winter 2025 Competition Schedule
- Season commences Friday, 2 May 2025
- Season concludes Friday, 26 September 2025.
- Week 3 Payment due in full
- Week 4 Players not permitted to play if full payment not received.
- Week 4 Uniform by-laws enforced
- Week 5 Team rosters finalised
- Semi Final teams announced – 17 September 2025
- Grand Final teams announced – 24 September 2025
Competition Breaks
- Junior holiday break – Monday 7 July to Saturday 19 July 2025 (inclusive).
- Senior holiday break – Monday 14 July to Sunday 20 July 2025 (inclusive).
- Public Holidays – no competition played (all grades) on Monarch’s Official Birthday Public Holiday, Friday 6 June to Monday 9 June 2025.

- U22 Boys + Girls (Born 2007 or later)
Player Registration Fee
All players must pay an annual registration fee, which covers individual injury insurance and affiliation with Basketball NSW. It is the player’s responsibility to ensure their registration remains up to date. Registration is completed online, with each user assigned a unique username and password. Additionally, registrations are eligible for Active Kids Vouchers.
Affiliate fees are available for players already registered with a Basketball NSW affiliated Association. To complete the affiliation can be processed online or in person at the venue. The affiliation expiry date must align with the player’s primary registration expiry.

8-11 yrs – $130 + GST
12-17 yrs – $135 + GST
18+ yrs – $150 + GST
Register a Team
Team registrations are now open.
Each team player is required to complete their individual registration before they can be allocated to the team.
Each team requires a Team Coach (can be Wolves Coach, occurs additional fee). It is recommended that each team has a Team Manager (not mandatory).
Rep Players
Teams can have a maximum of 5 representative players in Pool A.
Teams competing in Pool B will be allowed a maximum of 2 representative players.
(DP players will not be considered REP players unless they have taken the court as a player during a REP season 2023/2024/2025)
UNIFORM RULES:
- Jerseys and shorts must be matching
- Numbers (0-99) must be displayed on the front and back of each playing jersey
- No parts of the uniform may feature external pockets or any other feature with potential to cause injury
- Undergarments which protrude from under the uniform must be the same colour as uniform, black or white.
- Please note that all teams must be in correct uniform from week 4. Refer to by-laws for clarification.
